Breathaplasta is a highly breathable blended lime plaster that increases the thermal insulation of your walls and provides natural humidity regulation for improved indoor air quality.
This is achieved by the addition of insulative biomaterial – crop waste – to the blended lime mix. The inclusion of biomaterial regulates and reduces airborne moisture and increases the surface temperature of walls. Warmer walls and reduced moisture combine to prevent the formation of condensation and mould on wall surfaces. Indoor air quality is improved for healthier spaces and the permeability of breathable plaster is particularly useful in older buildings and humid climates where moisture can be a persistent issue.
