A Moderately Hydraulic Lime manufactured in France which meets the requirements of BS EN459-2001. Natural hydraulic limes are mixed with the appropriate aggregates to make hydraulic lime mortars which set in the presence of water, hence the term hydraulic. All of these hydraulic limes high degree of whiteness allow accurate colour matching of mortars. They are supplied in 25kg moisture resistant bags for single purchases or in pallets of 40 x 25kg bags.

Description

Limelite NHL 3.5 is a moderately hydraulic lime suitable for general-purpose building work. It can be used for mortar/pointing/rendering of most masonry types.

Tarmac / Blue Circle Limelite products contain no additives, mineral additions or Portland cement and are quality assured to EN 459-1: Natural Hydraulic Limes with independent third-party certification. They also carry a CE Mark.
